HCM. Hãy cùng IPP đến với bài mẫu để xem cô bạn đã xử lý đề này như thế nào nhé!”
Sample Speaking:
I want to express that I usually hate crowds, so hardly do I find myself in a situation where I have to wait in line. But one time that is really memorable was when I had to wait half an hour to get just a cup of coffee. It was around February of 2013. I have such vivid memory of the time because it was not only my birth month but also a pretty special year to me. Coincidentally, it was the time when Starbucks opened its first shop in Vietnam as well. I was in HCM City at that time on a vacation with my family, and when our relatives told us of the famous brand opening, my older brother insisted on coming there to see and buy a cup of coffee. Just to have a taste of what foreign coffee is like – he said. As unwilling as I was, I let myself be pulled along with him to the new Starbucks. We were so sure that we had come on a working day and not during the usual rush hours of coffee stores, so we would not have to wait. How wrong we were. In front of the shop, there was this long line of people standing, swearing, anxiously waiting just for a cup of coffee like us. There must have been like 20-30 of them. I felt almost nauseous at the sight. However, in the end, we still accepted our fate and joined in the line, since my brother said it would be a waste if we came back home empty-handed. Half an hour passed in boredom and agony for me because as I have mentioned, I hate crowds and am not even that much of a fan of coffee. We managed to get a cup in the end, and sadly, or served my brother right, it didn’t even taste that good according to him.
