The pie charts provide a breakdown on workers of two countries across three sectors by gender. It can be seen that service employees predominate in both countries, with the most pronounced extent occuring in country B. In addition, the least popular sector is different between these two nations, as it is industry in nation A and agriculture in B.
In country A, service witnesses the most male employment, with 56% of men. The figure for farmwork is roughly half that, with 29%, and in turn, the percentage of male industrial employees is approximately half that of agriculture, with 15%. While the services sector is also the most popular for women, the level for farming closely matches it, which stands at 43% compared to 49% for the former. Only 8% of women from this nation, in contrast, are employed in industry.
With regard to country B, male service staff account for two-thirds of all working men, whereas there are 32% of males in industry, which is half the figure for service, and agriculture is the least common sector, with 3%. The vast majority of country B’s women, meanwhile, work in services, with nearly 80%. This leaves one fifth of the females from this nation being industrial employees, and merely 1% as the proportion of agricultural workers.
