Ví dụ với đề bài trên – hẳn nhiều thí sinh sẽ cho rằng “người mà mình ngưỡng mộ PHẢI nổi tiếng, PHẢI có tầm ảnh hưởng cỡ Hallyu trở lên…”, từ đó mất thời gian để cố gắng nhớ lại những câu chuyện về vĩ nhân ấy. Nhưng trên thực tế, một câu trả lời về ai đó ở ngay xung quanh chúng ta đôi khi sẽ tạo nên sự khác biệt!

Part 2: Describe an older person that you admire
You shoud say:
– Who this person is?
– How you know this person
– What kinds of things you like to do together
– And explain how you feel about this person
Sample Speaking:
People often talk about famous business people, singers or actors when being asked about their idol, but to me, it would be my beloved mother. She’s a splendid cook. Her dream used to be running a small Vietnamese restaurant of her own, but had to dismiss that because her budget wasn’t enough and there were my brother and I that my parents had to spend money on. After listening to that story, I show more gratitude to my mom. Her strength is Vietnam traditional food, and whenever she makes family’s meals, she puts all her efforts and dreams into them. A secret recipe often plays an important role in Asian cuisine as there aren’t many differences in the food. Therefore, my mother also has one when she cooks and I think my favorite dish that she makes is bun cha. Although the dipping sauce has the same ingredients like other restaurants such as fish sauce, sugar and minced garlic, I always feel like the taste of other places is much more bland compared to my mom’s food. I usually help my mom when she makes bun cha. Because our house is quite small, we don’t have a big yard to set up a charcoal grill to cook the meat, so I have to use the induction stove. It’s nowhere near delicious as the outdoor grilled meat, but it’s enough for me at least. One day, out of the blue, I asked my mom to teach me how to make bun cha, she was quite surprised because I’ve never shown interest in cooking although I’m always her kitchen assistant. I hope someday, I will reach the level of my mother.
