Part 2: Describe your favorite weather
You should say
– What kind of weather it is?
– When this weather usually occurs?
– What you usually do during this weather?
– Explain how this weather affects you?
And explain why you like this type of weather
Sample Speaking:
So, I feel like it’s going to be very difficult to talk about my favorite weather if the person listening is not someone from Ha Noi, because the weather that I fancy the most during the year is Hanoi autumn. So this is a season that is very unique to the northern part of Vietnam and it is considered a trasitional season, ranging from September to November. So usually during Hanoi autumn, the weather is overall very cool and fresh. When you go out on the streets in this season, you would usually feel a very cool, slight breeze swirling around you. The sky is most of the time in an incredible blue shade and the sunlight is not too fierce like in summer and not too faint like in winter months, but it’s very gentle and very strange, very hard to describe. Even the sudden rain could not disrupt the usual tranquilt and cool feeling that this weather brings me. So during these specific months, I usually try to be outside as much as possible, and one of my favorite pastime activities is going out to café shops and just stare at the combination of red, orange, yellow, and green foliage outside. I like this type of weather because I am someone who is a bit sensitive to the weather in general and I like the atmosphere that is not too hot nor too cold. I usually feel very comfortable during this season and very encouraged to do as many things as I can.
