1. Nguồn gốc của lễ hội Halloween
Halloween là một ngày lễ được tổ chức hàng năm vào ngày 31 tháng 10 và Halloween năm 2023 sẽ diễn ra vào Thứ Ba, ngày 31 tháng 10. Truyền thống bắt nguồn từ lễ hội Samhain cổ xưa của người Celtic, khi mọi người đốt lửa và mặc trang phục để xua đuổi ma quỷ. Vào thế kỷ VIII, Giáo hoàng Grêgôriô III đã chỉ định ngày 1 tháng 11 là thời gian để tôn vinh tất cả các thánh.
Ngay sau đó, Ngày Các Thánh đã kết hợp một số truyền thống của Samhain. Buổi tối trước đó được gọi là All Hallows Eve, và sau đó là Halloween.
Theo thời gian, Halloween đã phát triển thành một ngày của các hoạt động như cho kẹo hoặc bị ghẹo, chạm khắc đèn bí ngô, tụ họp lễ hội, mặc trang phục và ăn uống.
