1. How do you like geography?
I’m not exactly who you’d call a fan of geography, but I don’t hate it either. Being able to put countries on a map is useful sometimes, but that’s all I could think of when it comes to the benefits of geographical knowledge. I think someone who is passionate about researching the history of the Earth will have more reasons to take an interest in geography.

2. Do you think geography is useful?
Yes, of course. Firstly, geography provides a comprehensive understanding of the Earth’s physical processes, allowing us to prepare for and respond to natural disasters. For instance, the government in countries prone to earthquakes like Japan could inform their citizens in advance, thus lessening the fatality rate.

3. Have you ever learned geography?
Yes, I did. In fact, I had geography for every grade from middle school until graduating from high school. We began with studying the geographical makeup of our own nation, and then we moved on to other continents in the world. It was rather fascinating to learn about climatic differences, time zones, and seasonal changes in sunlight around the world.

4. Do you want to be a geography teacher?
