Bài mẫu Describe a foreign country that you would like to go
The age of globalization has opened up a lot of opportunities for travelling abroad and I have always dreamt of going to this particular foreign country – Japan.
Japan is right on the East of Asia so it does not take us a long time to fly there – one thing I like about this country. But what I am particularly keen on in Japan is its distinctive combination of modernity and conventionality. It’s as clear as day that Japan is one of the most developed nations in the world so of course it is teeming with skyscrapers standing next to each other, surfaced roads full of futuristic cars, neon-lit streets with high-end shopping malls. This is enough for me to chill out because where I live is a normal town with just detached houses and apartments so the dream of visiting a modern city full of high-rises always flickers through my mind.
However, Japan’s irresistible attraction is not that simple. One moment you are amazed at the modern vibe but just a few walks and you will be immediately taken aback by the traditional elements of people’s lifestyle. Japanese cuisine still retain many traditional delicious foods like sushi, sashimi or Sukiyaki hot pot. Japanese are also well-known for their calm ways of enjoying life, one of which I really want to give a try is onsen bathing. Just putting aside all the pressure and enjoying yourself in the hot spring are so satisfying and with all the current hustle and bustle in my life, onsen will be a priceless dose of soul cleansing to me.
As the world is still putting on lockdown for COVID-19 pandemic, going to Japan is out of the question but when international tourism resumes, I will definitely head for this island country to see its uniqueness with my own eyes.
